Kings of Anything — a group of friends led by Jonathan Hess and Isaiah Marcotte — joined together to create this album in the summer of 2020. The onset of the pandemic provided a unique opportunity to be creative during a period when the world was isolated.

The Salina Masonic Temple provided a unique space to contemplate, write, and record this album — its ritualistic environment influencing its musical direction. Additionally, the esoteric artwork and the elaborate costumes and lodges were utilized throughout production.
